Anna Lee serves as COL IT Manager since July 2, 2008. She is responsible for managing all aspects of COL's information technology environment, including support for COL personnel, management of IT vendors and maintaining a robust information technologies and services environment within the organisation.
Prior to joining COL, Anna was Manager, Information Systems & Technology at the University of British Columbia Library in Canada where she managed the business process reengineering and implementation of the library eResource Management System.
Originally from Singapore, Anna was Divisional Director of Information Services at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE). In addition to her responsibility to provide central IT governance and IT services, Anna championed the implementation of the Knowledge Management System and Single Sign-on Teaching and Learning portals for ITE.
Anna received her Bachelor of Mathematics, majoring in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada and a Master of Science, majoring in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Anna is presently pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Higher Education at the University of British Columbia.
In her spare time, Anna volunteers in various community programmes. She is also an industry mentor for the Tri-mentoring program at the Department of Computer Science at the University of British Columbia since 2005 and was a Board member of the University of British Columbia Alumni Association in 2007. Anna's favorite pastime includes experimenting with various culinary recipes and enjoying good food with friends.
