DEANZ Award
The Distance Education Association of New Zealand (DEANZ) wishes
to promote and reward excellence in e-learning, distance, open and
flexible learning. The DEANZ Award is open to individuals or groups
in New Zealand, or New Zealand citizens living overseas, who have
completed a project that meets the criteria of the Award. Projects:
- should be well-documented, and relevant to, and advance the
understanding of best practice in the area nominated;
- should have been completed since the previous DEANZ conference;
may be broad or narrow in focus, and address any sector;
- should be innovative or original in concept or application;
- should have outcomes relevant to the professional eLearning
(or Distance/Open/Flexible Learning) community, and preferably
have been evaluated.
Where research is an element, methodologies should be appropriate,
ethical and well conducted. Referencing should be clear, explicit
and professional.
