The Isabel Learning Network is a network of eight community FM radio stations across Isabel Province, Solomon Islands. The network was established in 2006 in order to support growing governance institutions with improved two-way communications and flow of information.
The mission of the Network is to
- be the voice of Isabel through a strong network of stations around the province;
- be popular, entertaining, informative and educational;
- encourage the empowerment of women, youth and the community, and strengthen the tripod system of governance (government, church and chiefs); and
- to produce and broadcast participatory content on the core themes of:
- gender
- environment
- health
- youth/children
- governance/culture/human rights
