Building a Sustainable Community Radio Sector in Namibia

Presented by Mr. Franklin Huizies, World Association of Community Radio Broadcasters (AMARC), at a meeting on Namibia’s community radio broadcasting sector in Windhoek, 11-12 August 2011, organised by UNESCO. Mr. Huizies’ participation was sponsored by COL in view of community media’s important role in non-formal learning about livelihoods and health in Namibia and Southern Africa, and as part of strategic partnerships with both AMARC and UNESCO.
