The COL Team

Angela Kwan, Learning Manager

Angela has devoted her career to education both in Hong Kong and in Vancouver. She started out as a school teacher, moved to tertiary education administration and eventually found her passion in ODL design, development and deployment. At COL, Angela leads an international, multilingual team. She has cultivated relationships with a network of education specialists including technical writers, instructional designers, educational technologists, graphic artists, content experts, and tutors from around the world. She carefully combines these people on a project-by-project basis depending on the needs of her partner organisations.

Christie Tetreault, Course Coordinator

Christie joined the team in 2008 and is responsible for course delivery from beginning to end. She has a wide range of duties that include application language screening, communication with learners and tutors throughout the course, monitoring & evaluation and statistical data analysis.

Sharmila Gracieuse, Program Assistant

Sharmila joined the team in 2009. She supports the Learning Manager in coordinating activities and other logistics for the different courses. She brings her experience in project management from Mauritius and India to ensure the smooth running of the eLearning cohorts that she facilitates.

The COL Tutors The COLeLIO international team of over 40 tutors comes from a broad ethnic and language background reflecting the diversity of the learners themselves. The tutors are located all over the world working from their homes on four different continents. The professional tutors meet COL's criteria for their skills in supporting adult learners at a distance using technologies. They also have a range of specialised subject expertise, which enables COLeLIO to customise the tutor/leaner allocation.
