Speaker Profile

Professor Daniel Ndhlovu is a Professor of Guidance and Counselling and holds a PhD in Special Education. He earned a Master of Education in Special Education and a Bachelor of Education in Special Education from the University of Zambia (UNZA). In addition, he holds a Diploma in Guidance, Counselling and Placement from the Technical and Vocational Teachers’ College, a Secondary School Teachers’ Diploma from Kwame Nkrumah Teachers’ College (now Kwame Nkrumah University), and a Certificate in Lifeology.
Drawing on his academic accolades, Professor Ndhlovu has made significant contributions to the advancement of teacher education in Zambia and beyond, with particular emphasis on special education and guidance and counselling. Due to his contributions, he has been honoured with the title, “The Father of Guidance and Counselling in Zambia.”
