COL is offering the fifth edition of its MOOC “Using Open Educational Resources (OER) for Online Learning: An Introduction (OER4OL 5).” The four-week course starts on June 14 and is primarily designed for teachers and education administration officials in the Pacific region.

The goal is to help them use and adapt OER for teaching online in the COVID-19 context. This new iteration includes updated content linked specifically to the needs of the Pacific region. All the course materials are downloadable for studying offline, to facilitate access where learners may not have reliable or affordable Internet connectivity.

Participants will have access to online mentor support throughout the course and receive a certificate upon completion. By the end of the course, they will be able to develop appropriate online learning activities and adapt OER effectively.

This course is offered as part of the Partnership for Open, Distance and Flexible Learning in the Pacific project supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, New Zealand.
