The following gender training materials were created for internal training at COL and are made available for use. The workshop is a half-day Basic Gender Training workshop and the objective is to establish common understanding about gender and related concepts. The topics covered included:

• what is gender?
• gender bias
• gender equality and its importance
• how gender has evolved in the global development agenda
• gender mainstreaming and how it can be carried out.
