Marisa Sittheeamorn joined the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) in November 2025, bringing extensive experience in communications and external relations across the international development and media sectors.
Prior to COL, she worked as an Assistant Producer on The Conversation Canada’s Don’t Call Me Resilient podcast, reporting on current affairs through an anti-racist lens. She has also held roles with the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific and the World Health Organization Academy.
Marisa holds a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Rhetoric from Bates College (USA).
