Last month, COL launched the new Employability Development and Graduate Excellence (EDGE) project with the The University of the West Indies, Mona. University leadership, academic staff, and learners came together for an in-person session, engaging in capacity-building activities focused on embedding employability into curricula and developing micro-credentials aligned with emerging skills demands.

COL brought together seven educational leaders from around the Commonwealth for an online event, Meet the Leaders Webinar: STEAM education policy and practice across the Commonwealth, on 3 February 2026. The webinar focused on the interplay between pedagogical and digital competencies within STEAM teachers’ communities of practice. The webinar was facilitated by Ms Anne-Marie Scott, Vice-President, COL and Dr Evode Mukama, Adviser: Teacher Education, COL, was the Master of Ceremonies.
